this, taken from slashdot, is great though. he uploads corrupted binaries into an emulator of some kind and captures the resulting screen glitches, some of which are great* (one of duran duran used to do something similar with detuned tvs and a camera):

* i have been watching the Gantz Graf video a bit much lately, use that as a yardstick for my idea of great.
also from the assorted-geeky-art-things-stolen-from-slashdot department is the bloke who codes live on stage. he codes little snippets of code that are dynamically linked into a looping framework which drives a midi keyboard - like eno's tape loops only computer generated. and done live. coded, live. examples are also very main / autechre.
