i just bought this dvd yesterday and have yet to watch it. i thought maybe some of you would have opinions on it. anyway, it was only $8 so even if it is a 3 min clip of bill o'reilly looking like a boob it will be worth it. so what says you?

i found it awful. i turned it off after 30 minutes. production value is very, very poor, which shouldn't be an issue, but presentation matters with this kinda shit. plus, a lot of their points are totally off the mark (former fox staffers saying "we were always told that producers were watching us" with horrified faces -- well name me one organization where that ISN'T true, chump!). there is a great documentary somewhere in this story, but this really, really isn't it. of course i didn't finish it, so maybe in the last 45 minutes they stopped using lame-ass cartoons to depict rupert murdoch (which worked for the simpsons, actually, but then again the simpsons' critique was like 400 times deeper).

I'm going to see this at Media Democracy Day on Friday. I'm not expecting much.

Pretty excellent, actually - if only to hear what former Fox people have to say (and what they have to say is more specific than what some have indicated in this and other threads).

I say this as someone who has seen far too many low-budget, "educational" documentaries that really are pretty dull.

The two former Fox reporters who were fired in that RBST/Monsanto thing were some of the best parts of The Corporation.

I haven't seen The Corporation yet - they're taking forever to ship it.
