Does anyone know how you'd get from London (say, Liverpool St) to Old Windsor using public transport?

Waterloo to Windsor and Eton Riverside, then catch a bus or walk about half an hour or so along the river, I think. Tourist information will have the lowdown. They confer with each other rather than looking things up, so they're more likely to be right.

If you walk along the river, you might see woodpeckers.
