George Herbert Walker Bush: served. AND pwned.

briania (briania), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:12 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm not sure why chris matthews is the only democrat pundit listed

cinniblount (James Blount), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:13 (twenty-one years ago)

just saying, you can't give the republican's crap by mentioning Reagan didn't serve when Bush did...

a real thorough version of this would be great, and would probably have a similar outcome.

Dan Selzer (Dan Selzer), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:14 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sure there are significant omissions and revisions here, but this kind of thing does occasionally make for great rhetorical hay.

Gives me a chuckle 'cause I've have my own patriotism occasionally questioned in this political season. Perhaps, every so often, I've been guilty of setting things up so I can drop six years Marine infantry and two combat action ribbons on 'em.

Not that military service is any guarantor of credibility. I've actually got more respect for somebody who was a conscientious objector and dealt with the consequences of that decision. I was fascinated to read that Sun Ra was a CO during WWII. Too late to vote the Heliotropic Party ticket, though.

briania (briania), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I think John McCain ate enough bamboo shoots & rat meat to make up for all the GOP's yellow-bellied, trembling inadequacy.

andy, Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:22 (twenty-one years ago)

er, Heliocentric.

There was a GREAT song by CWA (C*nt$ With Attitude) called "Chickenhawk" about a dyke on a motorcycle who steals some dude's girl. Dang, I wish I had a copy.

Je4nne ƒury (Jeanne Fury), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:33 (twenty-one years ago)

That sounds like a REALLY bad song.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Garotted them with cardigan yarn.

briania (briania), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:47 (twenty-one years ago)

They are missing the fact* that Ann Coulter infiltrated Iraqs Elite Republican Gaurd during Desert Sheild and outed them as not Republicans at all, but Camel-fucking, Women-beating, Oil-hoarding, LIBERALS!

*This fact is most certainly less than factual. In fact I made it up, just like Ann Coulter does in her books and articles. I'm still prettier than her though.

Doobie Keebler (Charles McCain), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:51 (twenty-one years ago)

My nutsack is prettier than Ann Coulter.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 19:53 (twenty-one years ago)

(TOMBOT: Please no more debunking. I have known the facts about Mr. Rogers for some time but have been trying to keep the dream alive. Your X Files quest for the truth is not helping. Internet rumours are all I have.)

Rush Limbaugh: did not serve (4-F with a 'pilonidalcyst.')
I read somewhere that it wasn't Rush himself that had the cyst, his DAD did though. (And, ironically enough, Limbaugh Sr did serve.)
If anyone can find some data to backup or refute this, please post it.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 22:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Please don't post a photo of Limbaugh's cyst.

briania (briania), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 22:57 (twenty-one years ago)
