UNLESS there is at least one absolutely bona-fide crazy person there to stir things up and actually raise the hell that must be raised in which case i really really love it. i had this halloween party at my apt in brooklyn a couple of years ago and it attracted the predictable assortment of tinsel-wig "costumes" at which point ally walked in with two guys wearing ruffled shirts and powdered wigs. one of them (otis!) immediately fell asleep on the couch and the other one made out with ally and threatened my guests.
