going to niteclubs stone cold sober: Classic or Dud

granted it was this shitty indie club that I would end up in if I was hammered on a Friday night (ie. quite often) but I was dissapointed that I wasn't able to tolerate it for more than a hour tonite and I headed home with a face on me like a bulldog licking piss off a nettle. I mean at least some of the music was good and it was stuff I've never heard before but I find a situation like that with lots of people around the place pissed up intolerable. Is it just most people are always pissed when they head to clubs so they feel less uncomfortable and self conscious?

After observing my friends while I have been sober and they have been drinking, I don't have the same regret about getting so frogeyed like I used to. EVERYONE's waking up the next day thinking that they acted like an asshole.

And they did. But who cares?

I just haven't felt like getting drunk except occasionally for a really long time. I just have to be in a certain kind of mood to get drunk, and I'm not in it very often anymore. But I still like to go out, because I like dressing up and dancing.

wow. i just found out taht i cant dance to rock music at all when im sober. dancign sober to house or techno has worked in the past because the music prety much dances you. but rock? impossible to get into if youre not softened up.

i can only dance when sober by hugging my elbows to my sides and doing the 'funky' moves calvin and hobbes do. i'm not sure anyone can dance drunk to rock, but it sure is more fun that way.

dud. i just went to one and my friend was being a jerk so i left before i even finished my first drink. but it's daylight savings time so it turns out i only wasted one hour instead of two!
