There will be NO MORE Club Sussed at Club Latino's the Sussed Steering Committee have decided. We need to move it back to a Thursday night and a regular time - it was knackering doing it on a Wednesday and nobody wanted to come out that night, plus Latino's while they always treated us well have an image problem in Oxford and aren't great at promoting their events. SO no Sussed until Jan/Feb - we're looking into a potential other venue or two and hopefully will be able to bring the good pop word to the people of Oxford Town again soon.

Sorry to people who planned to come on the 5th. DJs Carsmile and Cockfarmer are available for weddings, parties, anything.

poo! i really wanted to come to Sussed as i've never been and it sounds ACE. hey you could try the Cellar - that's a quite small (dunno how big it needs to be) place in, er, a cellar off Cornmarket St near Gap? we played there once and they are very nice there.

That's a real shame.

They are nice at the Cellar but the only thing is, your gig was a Thursday and there seem to be gigs on there every Thursday. What other places were you considering Tom? Upstairs at the Wheatsheaf? The Bridge in Hythe Bridge Street?

The people who run the Cellar always used to get dewy-eyed at the mention of the old Oxford Strange Fruit, which wasn't a million miles away from Sussed to be honest. Might be worth asking them.

We cracked the Oxford crowd by having free entry all the time, incidentally. A thankless task, granted, but it worked.
