*I* could probably sleep with four out of five Spice Girls in this day and age (if I were playing such a lame game of Sexual Pokemon, that is).

if you were to try and "collect the set", then, what would be your strategy?

which 4 would be in your "set"? what would be your sequence of conquest?

SPLASH ATTAK

POKEAKKE (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 November 2004 16:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Charm, followed up by Attract, then Lovely Kiss, then Belly Drum, then Dream Eater, then Baton Pass, then Bonemerang, then Explosion ("your opponent faints after this attack), then Blizzard, then Spore.

Lots for spurned lovers too: Confusion, then Mean Look, then Icy Wind, then Hyper Fang, then Mud Slap, then Poison Sting, then Nightmare...

I thought 'mud slap' meant something else entirely.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 24 November 2004 16:29 (twenty-one years ago)

DOUBLE TEAM ATTACK

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 24 November 2004 16:34 (twenty-one years ago)

You'd be surprised, er, actually you wouldn't be surprised that a google image search for "pokemon" yields lots of images that are more appropriate to a search for "sexual pokemon."

"Worlds" is the biggest Pokemon Trading Card Game tournament of each year. It's difficult to obtain an invitation, and you must then win a majority of several games versus the field over two days to reach a single elimination "top 8" bracket that eventually determines the world champion and biggest moneymaker. This year, a fella made it to Worlds, made the "top 8", and defeated a top-rated player 2-0 in a best of 3 games in the first round. In celebration, he made a hand gesture on the live stream:

and was swiftly handed a loss for unsportsmanlike behavior. The original loser of this matchup moved on and won the next 2 rounds, becoming World Champion.
