Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Burn him.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:41 (twenty-one years ago)

(More seriously -- I don't think it makes it *okay* per se, but you do want to learn from your mistakes. I should know.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Did you know it was bad before you did it? Did you do it thinking "the remorse will cover this right up"?

Curious George Rides a Republican (Rock Hardy), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, i feel terrible about this and i'll learn the lesson.

i'm kind of hoping that nobody saw this thing and that i get away with it. Otherwise i'll probably have to be charged and arrested or something.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:44 (twenty-one years ago)

It was an accident.

and after i did it i knew it was bad.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Is this about taking the money from the vomit?

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:46 (twenty-one years ago)

no, but karmically i'm pretty sure it is.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:48 (twenty-one years ago)

So you're the guy keying everybody's cars. You will go to hell.

Pears can just fuck right off. (kenan), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:49 (twenty-one years ago)

I think the worst things I've ever done were make cutting remarks to my wife, which I regretted immediately. Regretting it definitely didn't make it okay.

As I consider myself Joe Average, I assume you've said something thoughtless and stupid to a girl.

Curious George Rides a Republican (Rock Hardy), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:50 (twenty-one years ago)

god

you are so close to the crime its unbelievable.

i can't even admit the crime, i don;t want you all to the think the less of me that you should.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:51 (twenty-one years ago)

xpost - i've never met you're wife, let alone make cutting remarks to her.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:51 (twenty-one years ago)

dude you pissed your pants and lifted money from sick.

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:55 (twenty-one years ago)

what the hell is wrong with me

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:55 (twenty-one years ago)

you hit a car and didnt leave a note? that happened to me once. i was incredibly late for a lecture, and returned afterwards to leave a note and the car was gone.

m. (mitchlnw), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Ah wait, I figured it out. You knifed a hobo.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:56 (twenty-one years ago)

If you've caused the hurt anonymously, and regret it but don't want her to find out who did it, would it be possible to do some act of generosity towards her anonymously? Send her flowers, or beat up someone she doesn't like.

Curious George Rides a Republican (Rock Hardy), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:56 (twenty-one years ago)

dude you pissed your pants and lifted money from sick.

mouthy?

Stevem On X (blueski), Sunday, 23 January 2005 20:59 (twenty-one years ago)

The shame! It burns! C/D?

Aimless (Aimless), Sunday, 23 January 2005 21:04 (twenty-one years ago)

i think i'll send some flowers and a sorry note.

spot on about the car, i only passed recently and panicked.

the worst bit was: i also crashed into their wall outside their house (in panic)

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 22:05 (twenty-one years ago)

when it happened to me i felt sick abt it the whole day. worse tho, the person went to security and found the taped evidence of me hitting the car, and called me up. nothing came of it eventually, after a phone apology, but it felt really really bad. you should definitely do everything you can now to make things right.

m. (mitchlnw), Sunday, 23 January 2005 22:11 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah

i feel so bad.

i don't think anybody saw or anything but i'll try to do something.

maybe some money in an envelope.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 22:17 (twenty-one years ago)

You know what? One day I was pulling out of a parking lot and really scratched up the car next to me. Like so many people other do, I panicked and drove off. A couple days later as I was leaving my apartment, a guy jumped outside my car, jumped in another one, and drove off really quickly. He was half way through stealing my CD player. Although I still had the CD player, he fucked up part of my door to gain access to the car. At first I was a little upset, but then I realized, it was meant to happen! I had negative karma from a few days before, and thanks to that guy, my karma was then realigned to neutrality. And you know what? About a week later some lady on a motorcycle rams into the back of my car. None of us got hurt and her motorcycle was fine, but she left a scratch mark on the back of my car. She wanted us to exchange information to report it, her insurance would pay for the minor damage, etc. I was like, "Hey, if you're okay -- just forget about it! It's fine!" And we both went our merry ways. So, my karma then went into the positive zone. And you know what? Since then, I haven't had any car-related troubles. I think these things tend to work themselves out.

Now that my karma is positive again, I can karmically afford to run over a hobo. I am so excited!

Put knives on your tires.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 23 January 2005 23:04 (twenty-one years ago)

I think i am gonna get bad karma.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Sunday, 23 January 2005 23:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Let me steal your CD player. It's the only way to remedy the situation.

Mickey (modestmickey), Sunday, 23 January 2005 23:08 (twenty-one years ago)

If you do something really bad but feel really bad about it does that make it okay?

Of course not. It grows, it deepens, it becomes a spate of doing bad things and tokenly feeling bad in the hope that it'll make everything okay, and suddenly without warning you're Catholic.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Sunday, 23 January 2005 23:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Wait

i'm already 'officially' catholic.

maybe its worse than i thought.
