Is there some place on the the interweb that will tell me if someone is still alive? Obits are easy to find. Thankee kindly.

Apparently he was just hospitalized in 2003, but according to the web my namesake is still alive at the ripe old age of 85.

Thanks, guys. I thought so, but just wrote something where I assert he is alive, and wanted to make sure. Funny how easy it is to find out if some one is dead, but not the other way around. I thought I saw a site once, like an anti-deadpool, that would tell you if someone was still alive. Couldn't find it.

The thing is, with the famous, if they're dead and you enter their name into google, at least ONE of the first ten results will be something mentioning their deaths, 99% of the time. That's how I found out Czeslaw Milosz died actually, looking up somethign about him on the Nobel site and it listed he'd only just died a few months prior. But of course as soon as I give this bit of advice someone will find the one dead person where this is NOT mentioned in the first ten results on Google.
