I've had an Ericsson t610 for a bit now and am able to get a free upgrade from Orange.
Things I need the phone to have:
- Bluetooth as I use it to connect my computer when on the road
- work with apple isync
- easy to read clock as I use my mobile instead of a watch
Things I really can't get excited about:
- mp3 download and playing, as have an ipod already
Things I'd really appreciate it having:
- The ability to quickly make notes when listening to voicemail - it's a real pain to listen to people giving you numbers listenting to messages, as i need to have a pen. Something really easy to be able to take down a number would be great.
So, any tips? I've seen a sony ericsson k700i which looks ok, but feels a bit light in my hand - I really like the metallic feel of the T610, and size-wise, that's a great size for me.

I checked out one of those RAZR's, but it was a little bigger than I was expecting. I think we're a bit behind here in the US and I'm still enjoying my "cutting-edge"-ish t610.

Oh, and what are the actual advantages of 3G? I won't use it browse the interweb (i use proper puters for that)? What speed is it? If you conenct to the interweb on the move with a puter, is it useful to have?

fifteen years pass...
Who would like to recommend a flip phone I need to get text messages on, and nothing much else? Priority is relatively cheap, but not a piece of shit.
