100 minute CDR's, What to do?

I bought one once, just to see...

My old computer saw that the CDr had 10 minutes available.

So does my new one.

So, how and where do these work? And would they play on a CD player anyway?

That's interesting, yeah. It was more about if the software can't deal with a 3 digit 'recording time left' parameter its getting from the writer, or is it that the writer cannot feed a 3 digit value back.
