So for some reason I think it would be a good idea to give away good ideas. Kind of a creative commons ideal in that you give whoever would want to use that idea license to do whatever they want with it (i'm thinking the license that allows people to use the material commercially). Ideally this would be an idea that you really love and you've been meaning to do something with it for a while but for whatever reason you haven't.
Maybe this could just be like one of those horrendous idea books that are meant to cure writer's block... though by no means should your ideas be confined to creative endeavors.
Obviously you could still do something with your idea if you want, too.
I will start with this, a short film idea:
A man has a cliche bad day. Gets fired. Gets a speeding ticket. Gets dumped via answering machine when he arrives home. The works. He turns on the television, and of course it's nothing but bad news or appallingly boring human interest stories. He resolves to kill himself to head off anymore disappointment. It's not an awful revelation, he's not weeping. It's almost an amusing idea to him, though he's definitely not cheery. He contemplates different methods, but for whatever reason, settles on laying down on the train tracks. He calls Amtrak to figure out the train schedule so as not to arrive to early and have to suffer more boredom. Bides his time picking an outfit only to realize that he'll just ruin it so changes into some dingier clothing. He heads down to the train station. It's still light out and the train station is deserted. Not even an attendant inside. He paces near the tracks, but the train is late. His stomach is grumbling when he realizes that he would really like a snack from the vending machine on the platform. But then he considers the relative futility and morbid absurdity of snacking before one commits suicide. In the end he decides that it would be one last simple pleasure. Standing facing the vending machine, he sees a strange object reflected in the glass from behind him. He turns around to see that there is now a block of red bricks hovering just above his head.
Cautiously, he inspects who might be around the station now, but still, there is no one. He touches the block. It does not move. He pushes it. Nothing. He grabs onto it and tries to pull it down but it will not budge. Again, he looks back and forth to see if anyone can see him. When he decides that there is no dangver of anyone at all seeing him, he positions himself squarely beneath the block. he looks up, smirking, and jumps and smashes the brick with the top of his head. the bricks fall away to reveal a steal box, out from which pops the flower that gave mario fireballs in the video game. with a befuddled and amused look on his face, he instinctively jumps up on top of the block. The flower disappears, and he looks at his clothing, slightly disappointed to discover that he's not transformed to be wearing white overalls. But he looks ahead with steely eyes and concentrates, sending an 8-bit fireball bouncing off into the distance. He laughs hysterically. The train arrives and a few people get off the train. A blind woman with a seeing-eye dog is among the deboarding passengers. He shoots a fireball at the seeing-eye dog and it bounces off the plane of existence, through the ground, just like in the videogame. The blind woman stumbles around confusedly and the man walks off, beaming a giant smile, into the sunset, shooting fireballs.
Well... now that i've typed all this out, i hope someone replies.

Two of my greatest ideas: naked home donut delivery and the microwave condom. Take 'em, ILX, they're yours.
