A scoop of Mayan Chocolate in your whiskey glass.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 July 2007 05:30 (eighteen years ago)
...glass of whiskey, obviously.
― Oilyrags, Monday, 9 July 2007 05:31 (eighteen years ago)
Definately beer and red wine over ice cream. Also, I was huffing Chambord on Sat night, and that was better than ice cream.
― Drooone, Monday, 9 July 2007 05:33 (eighteen years ago)
booze! because i'm lactose intolerant and a drunk.
― bell_labs, Monday, 9 July 2007 05:52 (eighteen years ago)
Booze. It's lovely on its' own, and it sometimes leads to sex, or at least some wild dancing. Ice cream just leads to nap time.
― nicky lo-fi, Monday, 9 July 2007 06:56 (eighteen years ago)
how is this even a question, booze
― lex pretend, Monday, 9 July 2007 08:04 (eighteen years ago)
Yeah booze wtf, ice cream hurts me teef.
― Trayce, Monday, 9 July 2007 08:28 (eighteen years ago)
just gonna type this
― RJG, Monday, 9 July 2007 08:31 (eighteen years ago)
Sadly no booze for me these days. Not that I'm a daily drinker, mind you, but I prefer it over ice cream. That said, I've been making quite a bit of ice cream lately. (Banana, chocolate,...)
― nathalie, Monday, 9 July 2007 08:34 (eighteen years ago)
People are way too quick to dismiss ice cream here.
― Noodle Vague, Monday, 9 July 2007 08:39 (eighteen years ago)
I have an ice cream hangover today. Argh.
But I did eat an entire tub of B&J caramel chew chew. With double chocolate cookies.

I hate it when they put it on a plate.
― nathalie, Monday, 9 July 2007 10:26 (eighteen years ago)
Ice cream all the way. I don't recommend making what I've called the "Drunken Irish Milkshake" which is a blender mix of baileys, khalua & vanilla ice cream.. Well I do recommend it because of its deliciousness, except that per glass it more than likely adds up to something like 1500 calories.
― billstevejim, Monday, 9 July 2007 20:57 (eighteen years ago)
Absolutely booze. Ice cream is great but if I could never eat it again I could find other sweets to take it's place. Nothing could take the place of alcohol!
― Ms Misery, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:00 (eighteen years ago)
I hate ice cream. Too rich for my blood! Speaking of my blood, I love thinning it with alcohol.
― Will M., Monday, 9 July 2007 21:03 (eighteen years ago)
in this heat, thin blood otm
― brownie, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:07 (eighteen years ago)
booze has stood the test of time and will never be out of style.
― Dandy Don Weiner, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:18 (eighteen years ago)
Booze and ice cream are both great and both needed for differing occasions. Also can be awesome mixed together... I just can't take sides on this.
― Sara R-C, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:25 (eighteen years ago)
Ice Cream.
― John Justen, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:26 (eighteen years ago)

I know, right?
But I really love ice cream.
― Noodle Vague, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:37 (eighteen years ago)
this is a really difficult question.
― jessie monster, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:38 (eighteen years ago)
I had no idea ice cream was a big enough part of anyone's life to even warrant discussion on this. Have I been missing out on all the good ice cream bar times and ice cream parties and after work ice creams and stops for ice cream when date conversation is drying up and ice cream tickets for the band and etc..
― bear, bear, bear, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:54 (eighteen years ago)
I'm gonna go with booze btw
― bear, bear, bear, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:55 (eighteen years ago)
yes yes yes
― Mr. Que, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:55 (eighteen years ago)
Going to the toilet is a bigger part of people's lives than booze but that doesn't mean they'd rate it higher. So yr analogy sucks a bit.
― Noodle Vague, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:56 (eighteen years ago)
Okay T/S: Toilets vs. Booze
― bear, bear, bear, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:59 (eighteen years ago)
It was pretty flimsy, agreed.
I think I'd do without booze before I went without toilets.
― kenan, Monday, 9 July 2007 21:59 (eighteen years ago)

Yes, but you're also missing out on the times when you eat way too much ice cream and wake up somewhere weird and don't remember how you got there, or those times you puke ice cream in an embarrassing place, or those times your friend eats a whole lot of ice cream and starts trying to pick a fight with you and everyone else and then you have you practically carry him home to make sure he doesn't hurt himself.
― kenan, Monday, 9 July 2007 22:02 (eighteen years ago)
Hint -- turn him on his side. That's how Hendrix died, you know. Choked on his own ice cream.

BOOZE HELLO. Booozles. But I do like Kahlua on vanilla ice cream.
― Abbott, Monday, 9 July 2007 22:21 (eighteen years ago)
It's pleasing to see booze is the clear winner.

damn, that's right, I'm actually 35 now. I will comfort myself with a Kahlua milkshake.
― Sara R-C, Monday, 9 July 2007 22:53 (eighteen years ago)
Going to the toilet is a bigger part of people's lives than booze but that doesn't mean they'd rate it higher.
I'm doing the math here and I don't quite get the same result.
― Michael White, Monday, 9 July 2007 22:56 (eighteen years ago)
Booze, obviously. Booze is the best drink and iced cream isn't even the best dessert OR use of cream!!
― admrl, Monday, 9 July 2007 22:57 (eighteen years ago)
Wouldn't it depend on the person? (And perhaps the size of their bladder?)' xpost
― Sara R-C, Monday, 9 July 2007 22:58 (eighteen years ago)
I'd rather eat ice cream than drink booze, but I'd rather be drunk than full. I wish someone would invent 90 proof chocolate peanut butter swirl ice cream and combine the two.

― kenan, Tuesday, 10 July 2007 01:17 (eighteen years ago)
chocolate martini, i mean
White Russian milkshake. Instead of the cream you substitute vanilla Haagen-Dasz.
― suzy, Tuesday, 10 July 2007 12:44 (eighteen years ago)
Guys, ice cream is but one representative of a fucking PANTload of dessert/dairy/taste delights. Booze, on the other hand, is a thing unto itself, an arsenal of companions, life-changers, mood-lifters, night-changers, move-makers and confidence-builder
which is why the question is unfair. it should be booze vs. dessert. or beer vs. ice cream. or trappist ales vs. gelato.
― gabbneb, Tuesday, 10 July 2007 13:21 (eighteen years ago)
Ice cream makes my throat hurt and give me brain freeze.
Booze makes me not care if anything hurts.
I pick booze.
― ni jo leeeeeee, Tuesday, 10 July 2007 13:40 (eighteen years ago)
I used to take that Breyers chocolate chip and mint ice cream and pour white rum all over it.
