Dammit, I thought this was an emulated version of the original coin-op Zookeeper! That was a noisy insane game!

I got to level 9 once, but it was more luck than judgement - three of the flashing 'wipe out all of type x' blocks came down one after the other. The counter just moves down too quickly for me at 8, and 9 is even faster.

Am I the only one that can't tell when the crocodiles are upset?

On the Nintendo DS this game is LOVELY. The stylus inteface is just perfect, and it's fast and responsive enough that you can be triggering new combos whilst old ones are still chugging away on other parts of the screen. And chaining together 3 or 4 seperate combos feels fantastic.

I've just checked some old archived emails, and as far as I can tell my personal best in the online version was 24,990. There's only one person I know who's consistently better than me, and that's the guy who sits next to me at work. He's MUCH better though - his best is 31,120.

Scoring's completely different on the DS version, I've got up to about 3.5 million on there.

Wow! I was amazed my dad got 20.000. He's great when it comes to these sort of games. I'm dumb: I only get 12000 max.
