does it have a place , what is the difference between decor and art, does the differnce matter and add a cdsd there as well.

Who decides if art is pretty? Someone might call something pretty which someone else might find ugly.

i think that things that started out as decoration acquire the status of 'art' as time goes on and the artist gains more recognition or dies, eg. Whistler's japanese room, Vanessa Bells' house at Charleston.
