Yesterday, I made a drink containing the juice and pulp of one grapefruit, one orange, one tangerine, and a half a lemon. I added water and a teaspoon of sugar and put it in the freeze til it got slushy. It was like homemade Sunny Delight.
Today I'm making grapefruitade, the newest member of the lemonade-limeade-orangeade family. It proves to be excellent.

Great grapefruit mixed drink that I had at an Italian place in Indy: Tanqueray #10 gin muddled with fresh sage leaf and a pinch of sugar, and a little grapefruit juice (about 4 parts gin to 1 part grapefruit juice). It's weird how well the three flavors go together (it could be any kind of gin, nearly).

It's amazing to me that Sparks hasn't intro'd a new flavor yet... just that same old vaguely citrus/pineapple taste... Because when St. Ides introduced their special brew in the 90's, they had a deluge of fresh flavors... kiwi-lime, very berry, etc.
The McKenzie River Co. (makers of Sparks & Steel Reserve) have an office in San Francisco, with Friday night afterwork hip-hops bashes with all the free Sparks you can drink! They brought several cases of Sparks & Steel Reserve to my old office.. we drank ALL the Sparks but left most of the Steel Reserve outside for the homeless.
