is this practice dying out or did they just stop advertising it.

has anyone seen a lettuce-wrap sandwich/burger and is it as disgusting as i imagine it would be?

actually i just wanted to say the title of this thread somewhere. i'll probably say it aloud later today or in the week, if i find an opportunity of any sort at all.

They still do it at In N Out, but they'll do anything there.

And for our Atkins friends, we've got a carb-friendly lettuce leaf they can funeralize their body in when their heart explodes!

They do it at Carl's Jr., too, and it's surprisingly good.

Lettuce is the toilet paper of leafy green vegetables.

Iceberg = sub-Scott standard issue corporate America restroom crap, coarse like sandpaper
Romaine = somewhere between Scott and Charmin, maybe; maybe an acquired taste, but gets the job done w/ little muss or fuss

And that's as far as I can go.
