Safari Weirdness?

Is anybody else having trouble connecting to ILM/ILX with Safari? I can get here using Camino and Firefox on my Linux box, but Safari just sits there spinning its wheel, saying that it's connecting, but never gets any further than that...

I have to type in "ilx.p3r.net" otherwise it won't connect.

No problem here.

I didn't think it had anything to do with Safari, though.

Woop never mind it looks like the old address works fine for me too.

No problems with it at home.

Thanks everybody. It's not been working all day, through reboots and all, and now it's suddenly going again. Computers just have a life of their own sometimes.

Is it in fact possible to get Safari to tell you the URL when you mouse over a link?

New Safari is ok but the Chrome-like tabs were a big misstep

I'm liking it so far. Mind, it's only been five minutes.

OH GOD YES. How many times have I minimized my window when I just want to change tabs? GAAAAAH. This seems like the least intuitive apple program I've used in a while.

There's a "defaults"-settable pref to return tabs to the bottom. I haven't used it, tho, 'cause I'm not voluntarily going to Safari 4 until Glims and Inquisitor are there (both don't work).

Well, you won't really need Inquisitor any more ... :)

I have to say, I don't get the title-tabs hate. Doesn't make any difference at all to me; I quite like it, in fact. Hey ho.

Does Safari 4 have customizable hot-key-triggered engines?

ClickToFlash is my nuSafariGod. Disables auto-loading Flash shit and redirects YouTube HD to QuickTime X plug-in.

That looks very welcome, thanks!
