The specific gum in question.
An English language explanation via the BBC.
B2Up says its Bust-Up gum, when chewed three or four times a day, can also help improve circulation, reduce stress and fight ageing.
The gum works by slowly releasing compounds contained in an extract from a plant called Pueraria mirifica.
In theory, this helps to keep the muscle tissue in good order.
The plant in particular:

Japanese women tend to be very flat-chested and envy large breasts, so I can see why this product might be popular.
It looks to me to be so much quackery. If this stuff works, why aren't there more busty woman who didn't get that way from plastic surgery in the areas (Thailand and Burma) where the active ingredient is developed? This reminds me of a Japanese advert touting the latest diet supplements from the U.S. WTF? Why would you put your trust in a supposed "weight-reducing" product that comes from the fattest nation in the world?

Gaffer tape two copies of the single on each of my pecs and I'll finally look manly. I can smile at myself when I remove my shirt, too.
