What do you mean?
That this shouldn't be covered, or that they would quit spraying shit on their fruit that causes severe birth defects?

I wish they'd play up the angle that Schiavo's bulimia led to her current state. I'd love for all those pro-eating-disorder 14-year-olds to see how cute they, too, could be.

Chicks in comas are, like, so hott.

I wish they'd play up the angle that Schiavo's bulimia led to her current state.

The parents are trying to downplay that part of the story, and since they're the ones getting most of the media coverage...

From an AP story:

http://www.kron4.com/Global/story.asp?S=2994651

(K)eeping the weight off was a struggle for Terri Schiavo, and years later -- after her heart stopped briefly, cutting off oxygen to the brain -- a malpractice case brought against a doctor on her behalf would reveal she had been trying to survive on liquids and was making herself throw up after meals. The Schiavos' lawyer said her 1990 collapse was caused by a potassium imbalance brought on by an eating disorder.

It is a cruel twist lost on no one close to the case: A woman who is said to have struggled with an eating disorder is now in the middle of a court battle over whether her feeding tube should be removed so that she can starve to death.

It's America, you have the right to unnatural body standards. You non-patriotic complainers.

Actually, most Floridians don't care anymore and weren't that concerned in the first place. People in the rest of the country seem to have more of an opinion on it, as evidenced by vehicles from other states parked around the state capitol building.
