I had a terrible anxiety dream last night about having to write something for Melody Maker about a band I hadn't heard of. No one would tell me anything about them. I ran into Marcello in an Italian deli (he was wearing eyeliner!) and tried to ask, but I couldn't make the name of the band come out of my mouth and kept just saying random words. I saw Lauren, who was on the door of the Islington Accademy, which was at the back of my house. She kept telling me the paper had folded and it would be alright. I woke up (apparently) saying: "No, it hasn't folded!"
