I heard that apart from the divine Wherever-Whenever-Suerte it's all lamer power ballads, so I've not bought it. But I love the single. I put it on when I'm walking to work to cheer myself up. I don't know about you, but when she sings "I'm at your feet" I think, "wouldn't it be great to have Shakira at my feet?".

"Eyes Like Yours," "Ready For The Good Times" and "Whenever, Wherever (Sahara Mix)" are all killer tunes... DV, get the album.

"Eyes Like Yours" blows me away with its thumping Middle Eastern style, on every listen... Same with the Sahara mix of Where/Whenever.

And yeah the Suerte version is brilliant.

I don't like her blonde look. I thought she (and her band) sounded pretty good in that video I saw the other day. I haven't heard much, but I wonder if she isn't underrated in the U.S. (Underrated in the U. S. A. . . . could be sort of the inverse of Big in Japan/Big in Japan.)
