Bring on the sundresses!

It's that time of year when a fellow's heart turns to fine-ass girls and their lovely sundresses.

Something shifts inside of me, when the California sun sharpens its gaze and the girls pull out these lovely printed dresses with bare shoulders and all I want to do is eat boysenberries out of their cleavage.

(This thread is only for the Northern Hemisphere.)

Tell me about the fine-ass girls you see on your way to work.

I actually don't like sundresses. Sorry.

Aren't sundresses for preteens?

Pre-teens and soccer moms.

Sundresses can look good. They remind me of Berkeley in the springtime.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 25 March 2005 18:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Even if I had a hot bod I wouldn't get near a sundress.

AND nature lovers, like this realistic and approachable lass.

andy --, Friday, 25 March 2005 18:47 (twenty-one years ago)

why, WHY did they insist on CGI for the Too Wong Foo sequel?

Sven Bastard (blueski), Friday, 25 March 2005 18:48 (twenty-one years ago)

God, I remember this girl Tiffany in a yellow sundress with like combat boots. I had a huge crush until I saw her naked at the Lothlorien food orgy.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 25 March 2005 18:48 (twenty-one years ago)

This time of year I always miss living in Oxford, and the sorority girls power-walking upstream to spawn.

Sundresses on college girls is great! I miss them.

(This thread is only for the Northern Hemisphere.)

Except that it's snowing in Chicago today!

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 25 March 2005 18:52 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd like to say that Tiffany looked great naked, but covered in food (vegan) around all those hippies made me ill. I went and had sliders at Blakes.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 25 March 2005 18:56 (twenty-one years ago)

I've still never been to Blake's and maybe never will!

Great, Brave, True, Strong, Great, Real, Wise, Great, Crazy/Beautiful, Grea (nor, Friday, 25 March 2005 18:57 (twenty-one years ago)

blame the vegan food and not the hippies? spencer for shame

The Obligatory Sourpuss (Begs2Differ), Friday, 25 March 2005 18:59 (twenty-one years ago)

I took a pee in blake's once and that was it. I think of it as sort of the east bay hard rock cafe and I want nothing to do with it.

Telegraph Ave is THE ave for sundresses in may, it's bonerific, and cambridge has nothing on it because while the MIT Hindu chicks are hot, most of those MA chicks are too blue-blooded.

andy --, Friday, 25 March 2005 19:00 (twenty-one years ago)

What? I blame both. The whole thing was very distasteful. I wonder if she could sense my disdain?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 25 March 2005 19:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Blake's is GREAT. There's nothing "Hard Rock Cafe" about it at all! I highly recommend doing a lot of drinking there.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 25 March 2005 19:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I still prefer San Pablo (Ave) and Oakland for East Bay drinking!

Sundresses carry a certain sense of freedom that other clothes don't.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 25 March 2005 19:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Google image search has a disappointing outlook on the sundress. This is not the way it's supposed to be!

Hey, has anyone had a run-in with the elusive Salmonberry?

As a kid in Humboldt County, springtime meant searches for salmonberries and thimbleberries. The latter was everywhere, but the salmonberries are very rare... there might only be one or two on a giant bush, so you could hunt for days and only find a handful. There a lovely orange to red, with a delicate flavor, not as sweet as a blackberry. To wrap this up, I'd like to eat THESE out of aforementioned cleave.

andy --, Friday, 25 March 2005 19:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I think if you did a round-up, 85% of my threads eventually end up as a dicussion of fruit. I don't know why. But the boob-mango connection is strong in my mind, they're both lovely and ripe and sweet.

andy --, Friday, 25 March 2005 19:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I think sundresses are very sweet. On the right girl, they make me crazeee.

Je4nne Ć’ury (Jeanne Fury), Friday, 25 March 2005 19:21 (twenty-one years ago)

didn't we do a sundress thread once?

i think ally and i came down against them, generally speaking.

i also recall mentioning on that thread, the moment about three years ago, just as the weather was warming up, when i saw the most strinkingly beautiful girl ever wearing a white skirt and a white blouse walking around the campus where i was working, and i think i actually stopped dead in my tracks, blind. i still remember that vividly.

Young women in flimsy summer dresses that leave little to the imagination: classic or dud?

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Friday, 25 March 2005 19:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Xpost - Aw, but that thread is so ANTI. I'm talking about a CELEBRATION of sweet nubile flesh beneath gingham & calico... it's breathtaking and life-affirming, you guys judge too harshly.

That said, it's certainly more appropriate on certain frames, and not so great on others, like bike shorts I suppose.

andy --, Friday, 25 March 2005 19:40 (twenty-one years ago)

oh my god, 'gingham, 'calico,' i think i may vomit!!

I guess since I'm a hater I just will not return to this thread.

jill schoelen is the queen of my dreams! (Homosexual II), Friday, 25 March 2005 19:44 (twenty-one years ago)

I actually like a couple Grateful Dead albums, so maybe I'll just go sit in the meadow and play my bamboo flute.

"bamboo"

Sorry, what I really want to know is WTF is the Lothlorien food orgy?

sundar subramanian (sundar), Saturday, 26 March 2005 00:15 (twenty-one years ago)

blakes is disgusting, I used to drink myself into a stupor there nightly when I lived down the street from it 15 years ago. will never go back.

sundresses are ace, I want to see MORE of them on girls, but it is still a bit cold. I work a block from GAP corporate and the Starbucks downstairs is honey central. Springtime now please thanks.

kyle (akmonday), Saturday, 26 March 2005 00:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Maybe you could go invest in the new spring corals that GAP has been socially engineering through SJP-robots in Times Square. I for one opt for the ridiculous return of the 3-qtr pant.

JDW (jdw), Saturday, 26 March 2005 00:26 (twenty-one years ago)

she has been fired from her contract starting with the next season, thank god.

kyle (akmonday), Saturday, 26 March 2005 00:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Then we play the opening riff from that one Led Zeppelin song that goes "hey lady, got the love I need" over and over again for like 45 minutes while mesmerized by ass.
