rules, doesn't it?

lemin (lemin), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:15 (twenty-one years ago)

i realize this is sort of self defeating, unless there are people whose weekend work includes sitting in front of a computer. which mine does.

lemin (lemin), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:19 (twenty-one years ago)

i work saturdays and sundays (and monday to friday - so basically ALL WEEK LONG).

nathalie barefoot in the head (stevie nixed), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Annie had a baby. She can't work no more. Each time she starts to working she has to stop and walk the baby 'cross the floor. Now I know and it's understood: that's what happens when the getting gets good.

Aimless (Aimless), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:23 (twenty-one years ago)

I typically don't work Saturdays, but I'm in today rendering some video clips for a meeting on Monday. It's nice and quiet in here :)

jay blanchard (jay blanchard), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I have worked every Saturday except for one for almost FIVE YEARS.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:39 (twenty-one years ago)

I just got back from work.

teeny (teeny), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:42 (twenty-one years ago)

roxymuzak has missed work for at least 2 saturdays

ken c (ken c), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:45 (twenty-one years ago)

i get to sit here and check things out to people. nobody's really around on saturday, though ... i should really be doing homework or something

lemin (lemin), Saturday, 26 March 2005 19:46 (twenty-one years ago)

i worked weekends for years, until fairly recently when i switched to a M-F shift. but we recently lost a clerk so i'm filling on this fine gray saturday. these obits won't type themselves, you know.

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I've worked on Saturdays, intermittently, for the past few years. I don't mind. I have to leave in about 15 minutes. Hardly anyone will be there because it is intermission.

youn, Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:18 (twenty-one years ago)

I've been in the office for 8 hours and think i'll stay a couple more.

beanz (beanz), Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:19 (twenty-one years ago)

dapes, Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Yup, and it's our slowest day, so I actually don't mind so much.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:32 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm working today, but my schedule's perpetually sporadic.

What we want? Sex with T.V. stars! What you want? Ian Riese-Moraine! (Eastern Ma, Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:49 (twenty-one years ago)

i am working saturday today. it sucks. but when i'm outta work, i get to meet ned!

Eisbär (llamasfur), Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Sometimes I work Saturdays. Not today, though. Instead, I am puttering around the house with all the doors and windows open, enjoying the cool rainy spring day vibe, drawing, and listening to Astral Weeks.

Suck it up, grindstoners! Hahahahahaha!

Austin Swinburn (Austin, Still), Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I work longer on Saturday than any other day.

Woop woop.

miccio (miccio), Saturday, 26 March 2005 20:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I work Saturdays, it's good though because in my experience it's better working in a record store when it's really busy than quiet.

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 27 March 2005 01:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I almost always work Saturday mornings, but not Saturday evenings lately. Except for tonight, of course. Which sucks, because I should be at an old high school friend's party to see a bunch of people I haven't seen for six/seven years now.

Eric H. (Eric H.), Sunday, 27 March 2005 01:51 (twenty-one years ago)

sorry, intersession.

youn, Sunday, 27 March 2005 01:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Saturdays and Sundays

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Sunday, 27 March 2005 01:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Aw no fair! Why can't I be there?

I've worked overtime saturdays happily in the past, and spent 2 years on a shift rostered helpdesk which meant I worked all over the place - weekends, midnight shifts, 7am starts... sent me mad, it did.

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 27 March 2005 03:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I've never, ever had a job that required me to work Saturdays, but in my first job I did a 2-hour shift on Sunday afternoons.

caitlin (caitlin), Sunday, 27 March 2005 07:35 (twenty-one years ago)

(OK, Ken, I meant non-vacation Saturdays) ;)
