What proportion of ILX do you think lacks "normal social function" and thus turns to ILX for human contact.

fcussen (Burger), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 08:51 (twenty-one years ago)

I had "normal social funtion" until I found ILX.

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 08:58 (twenty-one years ago)

This is abnormal? Why didn't someone tell me?

Penelope_111 (Penelope_111), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 08:59 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm a good talker...and listener.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 09:16 (twenty-one years ago)

35%. There is a further 55% who are marginally disturbed. HOWEVER, WE ARE THE FUTURE.

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 17:48 (twenty-one years ago)

All my friends in the Bay Area are from ILX.

Poundstretcher (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 17:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Honestly, the people I meet from ILX are totally > most of the people I meet at my fucking school.

BOATPEOPLEHATEFUCK (ex machina), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 17:55 (twenty-one years ago)

perhaps that's samthung to do with that rather particular type of school of yours, no?

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:00 (twenty-one years ago)

the weird thing is i don't turn to ilx for human contact -- it's purely out of boredom!

jody von oy (Jody Beth Rosen), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:00 (twenty-one years ago)

sometimes ilx is better than normal human contact. i'm not much part of it, so it takes a lot less effort than seeing friends. (not that i don't *like* seeing friends, but the thought of substituting human company for all the time i'm online sounds quite draining.)

Maria (Maria), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I realised at the weekend I have more contact with my friends through ILX than I do in real life. (the fact I met most of them through s*n*st*r is neither here nor there).

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:05 (twenty-one years ago)

My school is full of boring jam band wankers, no joke. And dull starcraft obesses fat nerds. And frat dudes. And boring academic grind people....

BOATPEOPLEHATEFUCK (ex machina), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Sinister is full of jerks

BOATPEOPLEHATEFUCK (ex machina), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I lack normal social function like crazy.

sunburned and snowblind (kenan), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:05 (twenty-one years ago)

What school are you at again, Jon?

Ken L (Ken L), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I keep thinking that "normal social function" is code for "ability to sustain an erection". I think this says too much about me.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Sinister is full of jerks

That's because all the good ones migrated over here.

Curious George Finds the Ether Bottle (Rock Hardy), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:10 (twenty-one years ago)

markelby /= sinister. (is that how you do "doesn't equal"? it looks wrong, but i am apparently a jerk by association, so you shouldn't expect anything better of me)

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 30 March 2005 18:13 (twenty-one years ago)

two years pass...

good thread
