this is a thread about one of the greatest achievements of our time: AIR CONDITIONING

but clearly since the thread title has the presumption that it is one of the greatest achievements of our time, it wouldn't serve the purpose of being an unbiased c/d thread. plus it wouldn't be an anagram of ac//dc

I read recently that the president of Japan is leading a campaign to get office workers to dress down this summer...as they often wear suits in the worst heat and have to turn up the air conditioning to the maximum.
