Or rather month you were born.

Inspired by the Time magazine thread. Who was the playmate on the month of your birth? Is there a web site that caters to these sort of questions?

April 1976: a lady dressed as Alice in Wonderland, she is hugging a bunny and her right breast is exposed.

My dad has a copy from the month I was born. There's a feature of Bill Bixby doing magic tricks with naked assistants.

god playboy's such a corny mag

j blount (papa la bas), Monday, 11 April 2005 15:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I have one from the early 80s I think (when Robert Anton Wilson was still editor) with a big article on Bucky Fuller! And spread eagle cootch! Best magazine ever.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 11 April 2005 15:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Ursula Andress is nude in April 1976, they are selling the issue online for $25 - the condition is poor to fair.

I must reread Chester Brown's "the Playboy".

Trip Maker (Sean Witzman), Monday, 11 April 2005 16:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Okay, thanks to the wonders of line breaks and browser widths, I scrolled down through this thread and saw Nickalicious getting inappropriately excited about eagle cootch. EEK.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 11 April 2005 16:54 (twenty-one years ago)

April 1976: a lady dressed as Alice in Wonderland, she is hugging a bunny and her right breast is exposed.
-- jel -- (freeduni...), April 11th, 2005.

That is, of course, the LOVELY Kristine DeBelle who starred in "Alice in Wonderland" - an utterly fab cult film if you get the chance to see it. She went to headline "Battle Creek Brawl" with Jackie Chan and "The Young and the Restless" on TV before going AWOL in the late 80s.

Wherever you are Kristine, us madass weird film fans still hold you to our hearts.

i like the "The girls of Canada" headline, too

Sym Sym (sym), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 00:32 (twenty-one years ago)

It was a very good month. Weird to watch Playboy's covers go from PG in the 60s to R or X in the 70s, then back to PG-13 in the 80s and beyond.

Curious George (1/6 Scale Model) (Rock Hardy), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 00:50 (twenty-one years ago)

October 1986? Aren't you breaking some kind of law linking to that, Ian?
No, I'm 18, I'm old enough. We should link Penthouse covers, too.

Ian Riese-Moraine. To Hell with you and your gradual evolution! (Eastern Mantra), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 00:53 (twenty-one years ago)

the Penthouse and Hustler and Gallery of covers of December 1976 aren't as good as the Playboy one (it's so disco!)

tokyo nursery school: afternoon session (rosemary), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 00:59 (twenty-one years ago)

I have this issue:

I was looking for the issue from my birth month once upon a time and this was the closest one I found.

Curious George (1/6 Scale Model) (Rock Hardy), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 01:01 (twenty-one years ago)

That's Donna Michelle. She likes whipped cream.

ian's cover is kind of hot. that last one is just odd though.

Maria (Maria), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 01:06 (twenty-one years ago)

First one I bought (I was 16):

Curious George (1/6 Scale Model) (Rock Hardy), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 01:16 (twenty-one years ago)

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Tuesday, 12 April 2005 01:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Or even worse, the first one that you ever saw/bought illegally.
