A bartender friend of mine says if anyone orders these, you immediately ask to see their ID.

Your favorite girl-drink-drunk?

is a whiskey sour girlie?

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Thursday, 5 May 2005 21:31 (twenty-one years ago)

You'd have to drink like 100 Midori Sours to actually get drunk.

Borderline. I think it's more of a standard cocktail, actually.

Some big pub franchise in Britain (something Greene?) has asked all it's pubs to rename drinks like Slippery Nipples, Sex On The Beach, etc., as they don't want to condone promiscuity and machismo.

We had lemon drop shots at the Crunkevous.. they went down very very easily. But I was embarrassed to order them.

I had late-afternoon inaugural lemon drop shots with the girlz at the Greatest Bar on Earth (at the top of the WTC) before they let everyone else into our college graduation party.

I like lemon drops, but Midori sour's are a little syrupy for me now.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 5 May 2005 22:46 (twenty-one years ago)

no wait, it was the bar or reception area of Windows on the World (diff from the GBoE), I think

gabbneb (gabbneb), Thursday, 5 May 2005 22:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Tracer, you should be more embarassed to keep using the word Crunkevous, so copiously and consistently, for the past two weeks. I am certain that 90% of your recent posts have contained this word. I BLAME THE LEMON DROPS?

Stevem came up with it in chat one day! Blame the foreigner!

midori sours are nasty and have little alcohol content. huge dud. lemon drop shots are nice, though, and will get you very drunk. they're just cold neat vodka with a sugared lemon wedge on the side, right?

lauren (laurenp), Friday, 6 May 2005 09:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Try the Japanese Slipper served at Freud; drinkable Midori/vodka cross.

suzy (suzy), Friday, 6 May 2005 09:20 (twenty-one years ago)

lauren (laurenp), Friday, 6 May 2005 14:00 (twenty-one years ago)
