Meanwhile, over at KUCI, there's the long running show Darkling Eclectica, which features this character as part of the show 'staff' (it's a one man operation):

Ned Priapus

Position: Continuity

Species: Scarecrow

Sex: Male

Birthplace: Costa Mesa, CA

Physical Description: About 5'10", maybe 20 lbs., Ned's made of different types of wood, all varnished a deep brown and well polished. His hat's made of cardboard, his head's a sack stuffed with straw and kept in that diamond shape by interior struts, and his hands are more like bushes than anything else.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 13 May 2005 14:40 (twenty-one years ago)

$V£N! (blueski), Friday, 13 May 2005 14:42 (twenty-one years ago)

You'd have to ask the host Michael Payne (who came up with all this both without my knowledge and -- I hope -- well before he and I knew each other...but I'm not positive).

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 13 May 2005 14:44 (twenty-one years ago)

his hands are more like bushes than anything else.

Jenna or Laura?

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 13 May 2005 14:44 (twenty-one years ago)

This is actually making me feel worse about the guy with my name who keeps writing stories about wanting to fuck lions and dragons.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 13 May 2005 14:53 (twenty-one years ago)

It's a match made in heaven. (I define 'heaven' loosely.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 13 May 2005 15:03 (twenty-one years ago)

ooh, heaven is a place on earth.. specifically a basement under mom's house filled with lion and dragon snuff.

What's superweird is that the page is called "Tombot," and there's a picture of a "Tombot," but there's no mention of Tombot in the text! Which I read all of, by the way.

From elsewhere on that site: "The fog choked night sky was orange with a glow from the massive steel ladles of Lunar Island."

"If you have forgot everything about something, then you know it can be hard to remember what you have spent a lifetime trying to forget."
