Her name's Katie Leung and there's typical promo guff here.

Oh, she's been in the papers over here (well in Scotland anyway) for a while, she's been getting death threats from obsessed Harry fans.

I'm more exciting about the presence in the film of a band featuring Jarvis Cocker, Jonny Greenwood and Phil Selway.

Um...why?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 16 May 2005 19:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Because she gets to kiss him and 14 year old girls are weird.

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 16 May 2005 19:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Death threats might be a bit strong, but there have been people saying not-nice things about her.

(exciting = excited, by the way)

You're very exciting, Ailsa, surely.

whaa? tell me more.

I'm re-reading order of the phoenix at the moment in anticipation of the half-blood prince's release. yay!

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Monday, 16 May 2005 19:39 (twenty-one years ago)

From imdb, cast list includes Messrs Cocker, Greenwood and Selway as "Weird Sisters Band Member".

The fact that the books are increasingly enormous and takes ages to film is starting to have an effect on the films: Daniel Radcliffe is 16 now and looking it, and he'll be 18 when Order of the Phoenix comes out.

An early developer.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 17 May 2005 11:12 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, but between the ages of fourteen and eighteen nobody knows what the hell a kid will look like. it'll work. although they did look surprisingly mature in the new trailer, but that happens when you see somebody once every two years about. by breakfast club standards, however, they're still in the bullseye of age range.

I take so much crap from friends for liking these books, but I'm really looking forward to the Half-Blood Prince. Katie Leung looks pretty much like how I imagined Cho would.
