Was it at the Stargate Conference in February?

I can't remember the last time I wore one - it's been a couple years, I'm sure.

At the 2005 National Film and Television School graduation show (they'd not bothered printing mine up - it was a crappy hand-drawn one, but it worked and I got a smashing new client out of it).

I had to wear one for some reason when a group of us from my radio station had to go to Dallas to train on the Mackie soundboard. I wrote "CAL" on mine, and later wore it to my first and only trip to Hooters afterward.

That was at least five years ago. I'm doing pretty good in the "no-nametag" department.

When I was a moderately successful teenaged actor, I used to go to conferences all the freakin' time and get wicked nametags.
Oh, and when I was a moderately successful entertainment journalist I used to sometimes get laminates and shit that had my name on them. Those're nametags, don't kid yourself.
Now that I'm wildly successful at NOTHING, nobody's interested in my name.

12 days ago at a training course in Electronic Document and Records Management in glamorous Hatfield. It was mostly made up of abstract nouns. I kept trying to derive some meaning, but most of the sentences were like "We are developing a corporate strategy policy for an enterprise-level plan for electronic content management," so there was little hope. 'Favourite' moment 1: "...so we don't have to reinvent that particular wheel..." as if they are all invented individually. 'Favourite' moment 2: "Many people get confused about the distinction between electronic documents and electronic records, so let me make it perfectly clear. When I talk about documents I mean, quite simply, non-records." When I talk about a training course being useless I mean non-useful.

I'm wearing one right now. Well, it's a work ID but it serves the same function.

Dan, is it attached to a little retractable spool-thing? I love those. Also, does it have a picture of you and how good of a picture is it?

It's a reasonable picture but I'm featuring TOO MUCH HAIR (ie, I hadn't shaved my head in 5 weeks) and it IS on the retractable spool!

(PP I am gunning for you. With guns.)
