― (¬_¬) (Nicole), Thursday, 23 September 2010 14:18 (fifteen years ago)
I want to give it a couple episodes (hated AD after one episode), but it's too much like Arrested Development to not not pale in contrast (seems unwise to have the overbearing omniscient narrator also be an on-screen character, not giving us a sympathetic lead, etc). A lot of funny bits, though.
― da croupier, Thursday, 23 September 2010 14:42 (fifteen years ago)
i can imagine it improving now that the premise (gob and lindsay as starcrossed lovers) is established, esp if they cut down maebe's narration and just bring on the riffs.
― da croupier, Thursday, 23 September 2010 14:45 (fifteen years ago)
the pilot was like a children's bbc comedy.
― caek, Thursday, 23 September 2010 18:49 (fifteen years ago)
credentials of cast and creators and past experience means I'm going to go with it for a few more weeks, but the pilot was really fucking terrible.

felicity not really any good at comedy. will arnet saves every scene. also his friend. and the stuff with the tiny horse is good. but really they need to get rid of emmy and her daughter. I see imminent cancellation.
