rethink your priorities.

Bring her breakfast in bed and then tell her she needs new shoes.

Go it alone, and let her sleep. Record shopping is for the lonely, anyway.

Rhodia (Rhodia), Saturday, 21 May 2005 22:07 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, seriously, our clientele on saturdays before 2pm seems to be nothing but single men free to browse for HOURS

(then the kids show up, which is of course far worse.)

Boy:"Dad, this was in the bold section of Pitchfork this week! You have to get it for me!"
Mom: "What's Pitchfork dear?"
Boy: "OMG Mom shut the fuck UP you don't know ANYTHING!!"
Dad: "Stop swearing. And what IS Pitchfork? Is it one of those trench coat mafia websites?"

I really wanna know, but I don't wanna ask.

rhodia is otm here.

record shopping is a personal thing, i think. groups of people will always just end up at different aisle browsing their own stuff anyway. (and occasionally showing a funny one to others or something)

except when you start taking pictures of cover connections with them, then it becomes FUN

Tell her you'll leave her if she doesn't learn all the words to 'Year of the Cat'.

I dunno, it's quite abstract and cold. Love the last song though.

I usually go with my bf to the record store. I'll be done in about 5 minutes. Then I leave him there, go shop at 5 or 6 other stores where they sell clothes and soaps and knick knacks, then come back to the record store, browse for another 5 minutes, and drag him out.
