Flava Flavs got problems of his own! / Kate (papa november), Tuesday, 24 May 2005 22:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Run 'em simultaneously. Soundtrack = a Muslimgauze 10 CD collection.

I regret making the comment on the other thread.

I've sat through the both of them, actually. But I've seen all of the Star Wars movies more than once (Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi probably 30+ times each when I was a kid.)

Star Wars is way more fun, even if the Phantom Menace is really painful to watch.

Matthew C Perpetua (inca), Tuesday, 24 May 2005 23:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh wait, I've only seen Revenge of the Sith once. But I'll almost certainly see it at least two more times in my lifetime.

Matthew C Perpetua (inca), Tuesday, 24 May 2005 23:32 (twenty-one years ago)

(And I've only see Phantom a couple times, I'm not that masochistic. I've seen Attack in its entirety twice, but bits and pieces when it ran on cable every day of the week.)

Matthew C Perpetua (inca), Tuesday, 24 May 2005 23:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Matthew, get out of the damn house.

TOMBOT, Tuesday, 24 May 2005 23:34 (twenty-one years ago)

hmm i'd make a new series

Star Wars
Cremaster 2
Empire Strikes Back
Cremaster 3
Revenge of the Sith
Cremaster 5

ryan (ryan), Tuesday, 24 May 2005 23:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Star Wars, because I'm not an almighty wanker.

Michael Stuchbery (Mikey Bidness), Tuesday, 24 May 2005 23:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Cremator would be a great thrash metal band name. I wonder...

*checks*

Aw yeah.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 24 May 2005 23:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Star Wars is way more fun, even if the Phantom Menace is really painful to watch.

i think "fun" may be the wrong criteria to compare them by.

jed_ (jed), Wednesday, 25 May 2005 01:17 (twenty-one years ago)

anyway... Cremaster, which i have seen all of.

jed_ (jed), Wednesday, 25 May 2005 01:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Cremaster, by about a million light years. I'm still waiting for the action figures.

Soukesian, Wednesday, 25 May 2005 16:25 (twenty-one years ago)

well i think the tubs of vaseline they would inevitably come with would encourage a bit too much playing with the "action figure" nature gave us.

ryan (ryan), Wednesday, 25 May 2005 17:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Anyone who sat through the entire Cremaster cycle and didn't fall asleep/nearly fall asleep is a champ in my book. I've never fallen asleep through a Star Wars film no matter how bad.

"Anyone who sat through the entire Cremaster cycle and didn't fall asleep/nearly fall asleep is a champ in my book. I've never fallen asleep through a Star Wars film no matter how bad."

Solution: Cremaster in THX!

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 25 May 2005 18:31 (twenty-one years ago)

IMAX Cremaster would be the best thing EVAH.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 26 May 2005 08:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Also I've totally fallen asleep watching Star Wars (and haven't watched Cremaster at all). But then I really don't like Star Wars, especially the nth time around. It's pretty tedious!

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 26 May 2005 08:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Cremaster 6: A New Hope In this sequel to Matthew Barney's five-part cycle, a red-headed goat-man races an X-wing starfighter made of frozen Vaseline to the moon of Endor, where he couples with a paraplegic Ewok.
