Fruit - the best food ever?

I just had the best strawberry of my life. How long could a person live entirely on fruit? What would be needed to supplement one's fruit-based diet? I could do it. And fruit isn't generally that expensive, really. I'm v. excited about eating watermelon and strawberries now that it's summertime.

It's not the season in New York really yet but Driscoll's brand strawberries are pretty tasty, I don't know a dependable place, though. I bet Amish Market has good ones. The greengrocer on Myrtle and Hall sometimes has little styrofoam plates of them with shrink wrap on, and the name of their store labelled quickly across the top and they're always great.

What until they are in season (and by that I mean locally in season, not the other side of the world), and smell them before you buy them. Easy.
