OK, I bought this PC card TV tuner thing, an AVER tv tuner card plus. It was easy to install, the drivers all went in happily, and when I plugged in my coax cable, up came all the channels with no hassle, and great picture...
.. and no bloody sound! Or even worse - stuttered, nonsense sound. Ive updated my audio drivers, Ive made sure I have DX9 and it runs DirectAudio, the thing seems fine with software audio, but wont effing play ball. I do NOT know what to do now. I assume the flood of data is for some reason ok with picture but sound cant cope and that just seems weird.
Ive googled for known issues til I'm bleeding from my fingertips with no luck. Does ANYONE know what might be causing this, or will I have to sell the damn thing to someone else? :/
