How often do you read them and in what context?

Bored, eh? I know what it's like. The burning, itching sensation in your eyeballs. The feeling like your head has a concrete block strapped to it. The sudden fascination with your toes. Don't fret. It will pass.

Just take one hundred very deep breaths, as deep as you can possibly make them, blowing each breath out of your lungs as rapidly and completely as you can, then immediately filling your lungs down to their bottoms again. Count each breath and don't lose count. This is important. it must be exatly one hundred. Don't stop if you feel dizzy - that's only normal.

do people with coffee table books anticipate their guests will be so bored they'll need to read or does their living room work parttime as a waiting room? i dont get it.

I had a coffee table at one point and there were such books on it. Not any more. Of the books I have there are a few that could be called coffee table books, I s'pose. World historical atlases and things like that.

Are coffee table books for guests???

mope, Thursday, 26 May 2005 15:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I like looking at books with cool pictures so I put out books with cool pictures I like to share with my guests. If they don't enjoy these books they are escorted out of the house and asked never to darken my door again. (What an adult was doing rubbing charcoal on my door is another question.)

People who own coffee tables are never invited to my home.
