I still read and make zines.
has the internet made them irrelevant?
for lazy & disorganised people, yes.
This does not explain how I manage to still read and make zines.
― DV (dirtyvicar), Thursday, 26 May 2005 16:37 (twenty-one years ago)
Also, Aaron Cometbus writes "novels" now.
Some friends and I made three issues of a zine when we were about 14. I still have them. They're kind of funny, I suppose. "Dada"

From Wiki on Gunderloy and Factsheet 5:
Gunderloy currently works as a computer programmer and farmer. He co-authored the book SQL Server 7 in Record Time
Mike Gunderloy's Factsheet Five Collection of over 10,000 zines and mail art is now held at the New York State Library and Archives in Albany, New York, where it occupies 300 cubic feet (8.5 m3).[7] However, only about 4000 zines in the collection have been cataloged.[8] About 1/4 of the zines in the collection are listed on Excelsior, the New York State Library's electronic catalog; staff of the Manuscripts & Special Collection can help locate other items.[9] 240 zines that R. Seth Friedman donated are in the collection of the San Francisco Public Library

Bumping for nostalgio's sake. Thinking back on my itinerant twenties and thirties and the beautiful collections of Rollerderby, Bananafish, Re:Search, Wax Poetics etc. that I had and have left me. Now 40 and stable, planning a family, and want to rebuild a library. Maybe my newborn doesn't need to learn to read from Lisa Suckdog but I would like to revisit this stuff. Hard to track a lot of it down and scans are scarce.
