"Approuvez-vous le projet de loi qui autorise la ratification du traité établissant une Constitution pour l'Europe?"

When they had the vote for the Scottish Assembly they were like, "most people say they'll be voting 'OCH AYE'"

No, but against the form/concept of the European Union as proposed in the Constitution, not against the ideals of a Europe that is united in all the good things (eg Italian cooking, Danish or Swedish social systems, Irish pubs, French wine, German railway systems, Polish sausages), and is a counterweight not just to the USA but to China (and maybe India in the future) as well, and as such can plot its own path in the world, without either slavishly following or reacting against other countries or power blocs.

Plus, of course, I think it's a good thing to blow a raspberry at those who seek to tell us what to do, how to live our lives etc (ie the government in all its forms and their asscoiated bureaucrats in all their forms) from time to time.
