Do you mean as first name? I have had people change their name and nobodu *objected*. I quite like Tallu(l)ah. Does it have a meaning?

One of the Literati regulars goes by Tallulah Blankhead. There's always room for more Tallulahs in the world.

it's a memorable name. there must be some obvious reason that it evokes southern belle associations in my head...

anthony, you simply must take the bull by the horns. This is too important a matter to leave to chance.

Here's the plan. At every introduction, every meeting, every casual encounter, every cashier's line or grocery checkout you must extend your hand to each person involved and when they grasp it, say in a dripping voice, "Call me Tallulah, dear. Everyone does." Do this for a solid month and you will get results. I guarantee it.

I know a woman who called her daughter Tallulah. Sadly, she can't spell very well and has actually called her Talluleh. Which is great, in inner city Dublin.

"Tallooooool-EH! Come 'ere till I fuckin' burst YEH!"
