PANG BROTHERS COME TO HOLLYWOOD: C/D

I haven't really seen much of their work... though from what I've read of the others, it seems they wouldn't rank among the better directors in Thailand / HK at the moment. They seem to make very commercially-minded films, so maybe Hollywood isn't such a bad place for em?

Of course, for directors I like I'd say dud to the question, no doubt.

Though slow to start, THE EYE was pretty good. I rate it better than both Ju-On and Ringu. Bangkok Dangerous is great.

The only fellows from Thailand at the moment that are doing anything interesting these days are Wisit Sasanatieng and Prachya Pinkaew. So, I can't say how the Pangs don't rank among the better directors in Thailand right now.
