Apparently Stuart Cable from the Stereophonics' mum is called Mabel Cable. Which isn't quite the same but is still funny. If you're called Mabel you'd be avoiding a bloke with a surname like Cable rather than marry him, wouldn't you?

This sounds like it should be turned into some kind of 'There was an old lady who swallowed a fly...' children's rhyme.

There's an Afghan cabinet minister (defense, maybe?) named Abdullah Abdullah. Or he's from a tribe that just uses one name or something, so the Western media calls him Abdullah Abdullah. But then we heard that he just wanted to be Abdullah, so we did that for a while. But last I saw it was back to Abdullah Abdullah.

my friend worked for a guy named D1ck D1ckler...when she finally quit, he made her dig through a stack of resumes to find herself a replacement. one of them was for someone named Cr@ig McCr@ig--she was tempted to hire him just on the comedic value of the situation, but ended up hiring an acquaitance who needed a job.
