Yuk yuk yuk.

Bunions

Hammer Toes

Verucas

Corns

Any experience of the above? I live in trainers, occasionally I wear flat sandals, once or twice a year the flip flops get an airing. I have what I believe to be a corn on the side of a toe. How did it get there? Who knows.

Let's talk FEET.

Why's he in the water spreading his nasty foot-scurvy anyway? Little shit, no consideration.

I'm disappointed in the lack of nasty pictures on this thread. When I open a thread called "Foot Disease!" I expect to see pictures of festering sores.

i'll bite. not a disease, necessarily, but when i was 16 or so i suffered from a pretty bad ingrown toenail, about which i, being a dumbass, didn't know what to do so it just got worse. it pretty much ruined my soccer career for an entire year! finally i went to the doctor and he said he'd have to do a little outpatient surgery on it. it was awful. i'll never forget how it feels to have needles injected under my toenail and in between my toes. he cut off half my toenail and i had to stay off it a few days. over time it got back to normal. until... about a year later, it came back. i fretted for a while over it. i did not want to go through that again! so, one night, after everyone had gone to bed, i got a bottle of hydrogen peroxide, some tweezers, and my exacto knife. i clenched my teeth and took care of that bitch. never had a problem since.

oh my, I wish I hadn't read that. It's like confederate soldiers cutting off their own gangrene.

I love doing amateur surgery on feet. They're so...PICKABLE somehow. Pause for you all to gag.

Aaaaaaaaaaand the most remarkable experience I've had was releasing someone's blood blister from under his big toenail -- he actually requested the procedure because the pressure on the nailbed was excruciating. I heated the ol' paperclip over the stove and melted a teeny-tiny hole through the nail until SURPRISE blood jetted up. The patient reported complete relief and *I* got to have all the fun.
