"every night I fold myself into her, every night she comes into my life and I feel her hand on my heart and she is saying, I am here ... I am here."

Machine drones give me the dreamy kind of goosebumps - our old Hoover spin dryer, the engine hum inside the Woolwich Ferry, Francoise Laporte's Mantra (based on recording an ice-rink's air compressor)...

the practice of me eating a popsicle rarely occurs, but when it does: accidentally licking/biting the popsicle stick. i don't know what it is about this (maybe the grain of the stick against my tongue) but when it happens i shudder like there's no tomorrow. in fact, i'm getting goose bumps like crazy right now just thinking about it. goddammit!
