Don't know if anyone here was on the Kings X train that was blown up, but if you are, some of us have got in touch via the wonders of the word wide intraweb and are meeting at The Bull 100 Upper St Islington N1 tomorrow at 7pm.

Please see www.fancyapint.com for details of how to find the pub, nearest tube Angel ( 10 mins) or Highbury & Islington ( 12 minutes) or Essex Rd station ( 15 mins) or 4 or 19 buses, or any bus that goes to Angel or down Upper St.

Please just people from the train only, if any hacks even think about it - don't. Please don't. Not that I think anyone on ilx would contemplate such a scurvy deed.

Thank you.

The Bull on Upper Street is the local for the City U. journalism school, Rachel!! not to mention that half of ILX are hacks to begin with..

Btw cheers to anyone who can walk from Angel to Highbury Corner in two minutes!

sorry I meant 12 minutes to walk not 2. Well it's too late now, I've arranged it. I'm not a natural organiser but I sort of had to sort this out as survivors were reading my blog and emailing me and saying they really really wanted to meet up with others from the train so I felt I ought to try to sort something out as people kept asking. I didn't know it was near a journalist school. Bugger.

I hope no-one will be so crass as to turn up , I am sure people won't and will respect us. I have only posted this on two message boards - this one and another london one where I post regularly. Both are the only London boards I know and have a good impression of, and I thought the likely places to find people from the train. If anyone bugs us I will ask them to leave us alone and if necessary ask the bar staff to help me but I don't think anyone will do that. I hope not.

:-(

Oh no, really worried now.

Perhaps I had better ask the mods to take this down if I have fucked up. I didn't really want to be sorting this out in the first place as it has been quite a hassle and I was hoping to just do it once and then people could meet each other and I wouldn't have to be the organiser any more. Shit shit shit.

Hey Rachel, calm down! I'm sure everything will be fine. I just thought that it was a bit funny to post a message to a forum read by thousands and then worry about too many people reading it.

By the way, I'm wrong about The Bull. The one on Spencer Street is the City U. local, not the one on Upper Street!

I'm sure it'll be fine, Rachel. It's summer holiday time anyway so I doubt there'll be journalism students about. And most journalists don't hassle people unless their editors/tutors are forcing them to anyway.

I hate organising too!

*calms down* thank you.

I think from a journo point of view the stoy has moved on anyway, the victim stuff has been done.

Apparently a girl I used to work with was on the second carriage. It still doesn't bear thinking about really though, for many of us here. I hope tomorrow night goes well for you though Rachel, and I must thank you for the BBC diary thing too.

Thanks. I am sorry if posting this upset any one.

*lets thread disappear*
