I think Fredericks of Hollywood is missing out on the whole trend of printing up t-shirts with their logo for 10-year-old girls and 16-year-old boys to wear, like Playboy and Penthouse. So much ironic skeeziness to exploit!

I actually have no idea if FoH is the equivalent of International Male. I really know very little about FoH. Sarah and I wandered into one of the stores in a shitty mall in Virginia a few years ago and were amazed at all the leopard print, but that's about it.

Re: Frederick's plus sizes, the models might be little on the site but they DO actually offer almost every single lingerie item in very large sizes, XXXL, which is pretty unusual for mainstream lingerie joints.

They appear to have a bunch of machines from the 1950s with which they crank out new versions of vintage 100% nylon stockings. Are these stockings actually comfortable or is it more of a collector's thing?

THEY ARE THE REGULAR MODELS THAT THEY HAVE IN EVERY ISSUE OF THEIR CATALOG

THE SECTION LABELLED "PLUS SIZES" JUST SHOWS THE ADVERTISEMENTS FOR THE ITEMS THAT ARE ALSO AVAILABLE IN LARGE SIZES

I MEAN FOR FUCK'S SAKE GO TO THE REGULAR SIZED SECTION AND YOU'LL SEE THE EXACT SAME PHOTOS FOR THE EXACT SAME ITEMS

it's not THAT inconceivable that the woman above could be a plus-size model -- she's thin but she's not disturbingly skinny (you could say "healthy" without it being a euphemism), plus it looks like she's sucking in her gut a little.
