at what age do people stop being flattered when people think you're older than you are, and start getting offended?

I dunno, cos im 34 and people STILL think I'm younger by about 10 years! I keep wondering when it's going to stop happening. Maybe if I grew out my gray hair...

People think I'm about 18-20, and I'm getting tired of it. Especially when it's teenagers who guess this.

you definitely don't look 34 trayce. i don't know either, i'm very nearly 29 and people always think i'm 23/24 so i reckon that's ok. means i don't get treated as a mature ager too much at uni.

I'm getting irritated when people who are younger than I am say, "you're only 25, right?" ..No, mofar, this is what a 39 year old *should* look like. Sorry your looks went south so early.

No-one has thought I looked older than I am since I was about sixteen. I think I got to looking around 25 and then just stopped.

i often wonder about this. i think i probably look as old as i am, but i'm not so sure... people often think my older brother is younger. hmmmmmm. i'd like to think i look younger than i am but meh...

I've heard because of my personality they think I'm about 27/8, but I still look about 19. I'm actually 24.

for me it was at about 13/14 - early puberty + bad short haircut meant that more than once people mistook me for my divorced dad's WIFE. extremely traumatising.

I've always been mistaken as younger and it was annoying until 30 or so. "what are you majoring in?" "I got out of school ten yrs ago." now people think I'm ten years younger and it's flattering.

most people can guess my age pretty accurately, but i was carded for a rated R lately!! people think i'm either around 28 or 29 (I'm 25) or under 21.

i wouldnt be offended if someone thought I was older, that just means I look MATURE BEYOND MY YEARS
