weekend plans?

i'm not showing an outdoor movie this weekend (we were gonna watch pee wee's playhouse, season one) because i need a break from it. it's a lot of work and all anyone does is whine about, well, everything. so, the saturday society (me and a few others) are going to the bat caves to look at...bats. and we're having a picnic.

ILX is my life this weekend. Dancing tonight and walking/drinking on a ship on Sunday.

Saturday I plan to do as little as possible, but lie around with a hangover. And maybe walk down to Sainsburys and do some shopping. Maybe do some more fevered writing. Possibly repot a plant.

looking at bats sounds like fun. i am going on a date (!) tonight. we are going to see broken flowers, not sure what will happen afterwards. still trying to decide if i like her. then tomorrow afternoon i'm going to a photo shoot for the cover of my band's new album, maybe listen to the final mixes of some of the songs. i might go see the aristocrats sometime, too. then on saturday night, i'm going to go see n/a and sarah mclusky's band, the fake fictions play at this space called the ice factory. i think there will be dancing afterwards. sunday i'm going to my dad's place to help him move some furniture, since he had an accident recently and isn't all that mobile. thanks for asking, ai lien!

tonight, i am having dinner with a friend and my sister. my friend is buying and he said, "ladies choice!" where should we eat? deciding where to eat is one of the hardest choices i have to make.

Tonight: not sure, might be helping my friend who is doing photo shoots for work by "modelling," ie, standing around and having my torso photographed. Probably something pretty mellow after that, check out a movie or something.
Sat: go eat brunch, be lazy, probably have a brief band practice in the late afternoon in preparation for the show at the Ice Factory, play show and stay up late hanging out.
Sun: wake up late. Eventually go to handymanda's b-day party by the lake, hang out.

no, i'm not, but my sister is. and because i live with her, i mostly eat vegetarian, but that is beside the point. i'm thinking either mexican or indian, both vegetarian friendly. fried chicken, sounds awe-some, though.

Tonight it's just me and my dawgs on the couch. Bloke is out getting hammered to celebrate his stag night/last day in his job, and he's doing me the favour of staying over at his mate's house.

Tomorrow I'll go and pick Bloke up, nurse his poor head for a bit, then go to the Shackleton exhibition in the National Museum with my friend and her daughter. Dinner with the parents tomorrow night.

Sunday - nuttin! Can't even do long walk with dawgs because one of the dawgs is sick and have to ease up on the exercise till he gets better. Might watch House of Flying Daggers.

working sightings/metalux/monotract show tonight, then heading to harlem where i'm dog-sitting all week.

mom gets in tomorrow morning, going to brunch with her and britishes girlfriend, then i dunno. sapat/watersports show later that night.

sunday is brunch, then all day at the cloisters with mom. should be a good time.

Tonight I have the exciting task of finding some curtain rods, Italian food will be involved for dinner.
Tomorrow, renewing driver's license at 8 am before getting charged post-expiration date fee, putting together futon frame 9I predict this will take at least 2 hours of swearing), going to look for birthday present with mom, going out for fancy schmancy Japanese food with boyfriend, might go to Wolf Park afterward to see baby wolves.
Sunday, birthday, relax, open presents with glee, reassure boyfriend before his PhD candidacy qualifier exam on Monday.

Friday night, sit around, eat and maybe watch a movie with the hubs. Saturday, shop and cook for party (i think i'm making falafel and accompanying salads as well as marinades for meat and tofu), later see Fake Fictions with hubs and remind Jaymc about my party because it's not important enough for him to remember on his own, Sunday celebrate my birthday with friends, food and kickball by the lake.

My dream weekend plans include going to Rodneys, this sweet old man hangout, and going to lakeside amusement park. My real plans will involve organizing a bathroom closet with my mom and working, most likely. I'll be sure to fit in some summer fun though.

Wedding tomorrow - me and my two sons are getting kilted up and looking all Scottish. My wife's a bridesmaid and she's going to look HOT.

We're staying in the hotel after the wedding so Sunday may involve health club things followed by more food & drink.

Go see Jennifer Cardini DJ at Happy Ending tonight. Dance some.
Tomorrow, read the NY Times, eat some eggs, then walk the dog with my wife.
In the afternoon I'll do some writing whilst listening to Day 3 of the Ashes on internet radio. Then tomorrow night my wife is going to a party to which I'm not invited tomorrow night (!), so I'll probably get a violent action-style dvd that I'm not really able to watch when she's around.
