According to my parents this is the firstpicture of me in the United States after moving here from Denamrk. I can not describe how important the Big Wheel was to me growing up, it was everything. Any other stories? I think I have 1000 slides of Big Wheel pictures :)

My dad's apartment complex had this big hill* from the parking lot. Even though I saw him only two days a week, that hill was enough for me to keep my Big Wheel at his place.

the back tires on mine were fucked from constantly going down a neighbors steep driveway and skidding out in emulation of a car crashing on CHiPs.

small oval shaped riding area (overprotective mother) was a def. source of early noise-harmonic- decay-loops-madness. right up there with the sounds of freight trucks on the interstate bridge a block away, all through the night

green centipede makes me think of those wobbly sit on it and bounce head trauma ride-things found in playgrounds.

i had a big wheel with a big clock, buzzer thing that could wind up. right in the middle of the um_sterring column. no idea what it's function was. also had a cool black handbrake on the back left wheel.
